Variety: 100% Chardonnay.
Variety characteristics: Chardonnay is a variety originally produced in France, in the Burgundy region, although now is planted internationally. The grapes are small, round and get a honey color during ripening. Its vinification results in a soft and aromatic most.
Location of vineyards: Etchevarría, Canelones, Uruguay, only 25 km from the River Plate.
Soil: Calcareous and permeable undulating fields.
Harvest-Date: Early February
Harvest: Manually collected in 18 kg boxes.
Fermentation: 15 days.
Malolactic Fermentation: No.
Oak ageing: 60 % 6 months in French and American oak.
Color: Light yellow with golden glints.
Nose: White fruit, pineapple and dried fruits. Strong coconut notes.
Palate: Confirming the fruit, with balanced acitdity and good volume, with certain creaminess and toasty notes. Medium finish.
Service temperature: 10-12ºC
Pairing: Creamy cheeses, pasta with creamy sauces, grilled fish.
