Lightish strawberry colour. Very pretty and scented red fruits. A little bit of spice on the palate but the fruit shines through the oak. Fresh and silky but with sufficient structure for shape and for the table, with a little fine grip on the finish. Very good.

“Vines planted in 2000. 100% Pinot. 12 months in barrel for 80% of the wine, of which 20% is new French oak, 70% older French oak and some older US. Concrete fermenters – old underground tanks from 1938 that have been repaired and were originally painted with epoxy but they have found that this is not necessary.
