Variety characteristics: Originally from Bordeaux, it is one of the most recognized red grape varieties in the world. Despite adapting easily to a wide range of soils, climates and latitudes, Cabernet Sauvignon always maintains its particular character depending on the location of the vineyard.

Location of vineyards: Etchevarría, Canelones, Uruguay, located just 25 km away from the Rio de la Plata

Soil: Calcareous and permeable undulating fields.

Harvest date: Early March.

Harvest: Manually collected in 18 kg boxes.

Fermentation: 12 days with selected yeasts at controlled temperature.

Malolactic fermentation: Yes.

Color: Intense and bright ruby red.

Nose: Perfumed, with notes of cherries and fresh plum.

Palate: Fruity, with good presence of harmonious tannins. Long finish.

Service Temperature: 18ºC

Pairing: Goes great with tapas and empanadas.
